My usual training partner has an odd schedule so basically, he'll be out of town for two weeks then in for four weeks. So I've noticed without some motivation(someone to torture) I usually don't have as good of a training session. Tonight was a pretty good exception. I did
dead bench which is a real ball buster. Normally, the only difficulty in benching 405 is the fact that it's heavy. However, tonight, 385 starting about a half inch off my chest was like pushing against a brick wall and hoping it'd move eventually, it didn't. So after that I set the cage up to work on breaking the weight while benching. Went up to 585 and held it for a few seconds after each break, by the time I was done my forearms and shoulders felt like they were about twice their normal size. Ended up with some pretty heavy one armed dumbbell rows, and some bamboo bench using
Fat Gripz so all in all a good session. I'll torture the guy I workout with when he gets back into town. Good news is, I got my date shirt in today, so now I just gotta get a date to ruin by wearing it.
I'm really hoping tomorrow is the day the
Nexus 5 actually comes out. Feels like Google has been toying with my emotions regarding the leaked pics/specs and whatnot. At any rate, Maybe it'll be today, tomorrow, or the fifth.
